About
The Founder

Chris Kennedy founded Kenvar Capital in 2019 with a simple mission: the same engineering discipline that builds mission-critical systems can be applied to real estate — finding undervalued assets, analyzing them with precision, and executing with operational rigor.
Before real estate, Chris spent over two decades as a software architect and engineer - serving as CTO for a media venture and a non profit, Tech Lead and Lead Engineer across enterprise and government programs, and delivering solutions for multiple Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies. He currently serves as Lead Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he designs and implements systems in highly regulated, security-sensitive environments.
Chris began his career as a U.S. Army Intelligence Analyst, where he developed the analytical mindset and discipline that continues to define his approach to both technology and investing. The ability to synthesize complex information, assess risk, and make decisions under uncertainty translates directly to multifamily underwriting and deal execution.
In 2025, Chris applied his engineering skills to healthcare, building an AI-powered oncology trial prescreening platform. That venture reinforced his conviction that the best opportunities sit at the intersection of technology, discipline, and underserved markets.
Chris is also a stage 4 cancer survivor. That experience fundamentally reshaped his perspective on time, risk, and what matters. It drives his urgency to build lasting wealth — not just for himself, but for the investors and families who trust Kenvar Capital with their capital.
A Filipino-American based in Los Angeles, Chris is the father of two young sons. When he's not underwriting deals or writing code, he's focused on health optimization, veteran advocacy, and building a legacy that outlasts any single investment.
